Generally, all new mums have a common desire to get rid of the excess fats which they accumulated during the pregnancy and get back into shape! The excess belly fats and the loose skins are often due to excessive stretching of the stomach during pregnancy causing the abdominal muscles to lose their tone. As a result, a ‘pouch-like’ belly remains after delivery and this problem tends to worsen from the second pregnancy onward. Therefore, it is important that the new mum adopts an exercise regime as soon as the body recuperates and clearance is given by the doctor.

Our Postnatal Yoga Singapore program is an excellent workout regime to get rid of excess fats and at the same time help the body to recover gradually. The many benefits of our postnatal yoga program include:

  • Improving the spine postural alignment which could have deviated due to the weight of the baby
  • Toning of the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles
  • Strengthening of the upper and lower back muscles
  • Rebalancing the mental state and promoting relaxation of the mind through breathing awareness

Unlike many other forms of exercise, yoga helps to replenish your energy instead of draining it away. Thus, a consistent practice of postnatal yoga for a period of 4-6 months could be the best way for a new mum to restore and condition the body – like once before.

Note: If the new mummy went through a natural delivery, postnatal yoga is appropriate for her from about four to six weeks onwards post-partum. However, if the new mummy went through a Caesarian section, she will need to wait slightly longer before beginning postnatal yoga. In any case, please consult your doctor before starting the class.

We have trial classes available at a fee of $30. This allows you to experience the classes and find out if you like them before making your decision.


  • It is advisable to start Postnatal Yoga only after 6 weeks post-partum.
  • Please get clearance from your Gynaecologist before starting the Postnatal Yoga Course.
  • One Postnatal Yoga Course comprises of 8 lessons.
  • The duration of each mass class is 1.5 hours and the duration of each private class is 1 hour.
  • There will be a maximum of 6 students per class for mass classes.

Weekly Postnatal Class Timings:

  • Thursday: 11.30am to 1.00pm
  • Sunday: 12.30pm to 2.00pm

  • Mass class – $600 for 8 lessons ( 1 Course = 8 lessons)
  • 1-1 private class at studio – $1200 for 8 lessons ( 1 Course = 8 lessons)
  • 1-1 private class at student’s home – $1520 for 8 lessons ( 1 Course = 8 lessons)
