Most avid golfers throughout the world are constantly striving to improve on their swings, in hope of shooting that low score or to add distance to their tee shots. Here at OhmSantih Yoga, we have specially designed an Ashtanga yoga program which will provide these individuals with a holistic workout approach towards those goals, abridging each individual’s quest for improvements.
This dedicated program aimed to work on the different key aspects of golfing, such as stance/standing posture and alignments (which involves the back, the spine, the tailbone and the quadriceps), swing (which involves the flexibility of hips/waist and the knee joints), stamina (which involves breathing efficiency) and mental skills (which call for the peaceful state of mind to overcome the stress of the game). A modest amount of Pilate’s workouts will also be incorporated in this program to improve the core muscle strength and thus further enhancing the improvement curve of the individual.
With this program, OhmSantih Yoga ultimately aimed to help each individual in experiencing a state of effortless power instead of powerless effort in each and every of their golf games.
