It all began with the passionate vision of founder War War Lwin Tun, who observed that there was a lack of dedicated attention to students in yoga classes, which were often held in a crowded and multi-level difficulty setting. The high teacher to student ratio also meant that specific physical ailments and learning needs of students, and even safety were often overlooked.
Armed with about 1,000 training hours as well as teaching experience as a freelance yoga teacher, War War decided to set up her own studio to correct misconceptions about yoga; To promote a true understanding of the practice and its holistic benefits amidst a caring, intimate and safe setting.
Today, War War and her dynamic team of five OhmSantih-trained teachers conduct up to 10 different class types with varying levels of difficulty to cater to people from all walks of life. Having started off teaching children, working executives and pregnant mothers, OhmSantih Yoga has progressed to additionally conduct yoga teacher training classes. Since 2012, it has produced about 30 teachers who have moved on to impart the true essence of yoga to others.
